Registration for Fall Classes still open for Shrek Jr!

We have started a waitlist for our Tues-Thurs Class. Our Mon-Wed Class still has a few openings...it isn't too late to register!

(We will still be letting a few students into the Tuesday-Thursday Class...but want to make sure we don't overfill the class; we are verifying class registration this week and we also always have a few students who switch classes the first week due to schedules...email us if you are thinking of registering and only the Tues-Thurs schedule will work for you.)

Classes start 21 August at 4pm for the Mon-Wed Classes and 22 August at 4pm for the Tuesday-Thursday Classes! All classes are held at the Capstone House at 1713 Beck Ave.

Some answers to a few questions we always get at the beginning of a new session:

- How do I pay the $50 Registration Fee?

You can pay via Venmo (@RonHolman-IFCT or @ImaginationFactory) or bring cash/check to 1st class.

- Do you have a payment plan?

Yes, we have payment plans available and will make one that fits your needs. Email us or talk to our Administrative Director to set one up.

- How much is Tuition?

$400 per student (Each additional sibling is $300) due Aug 23/24th unless on a payment plan. The $50 Registration fee goes towards the $400 Tuition. There is an additional $25 Costume fee due the 8th of September.

- What happens if my child just doesn't like the class?

The first week is a trial period. If at the end of the first week, we decide the class just isn't a great fit or your child decides it just isn't their thing, we refund the full tuition minus the registration fee. After the first week, we will have to look at each case individually as we will have casted the play. Our goal at the end of the day is to ensure every kid as a great experience with Musical Theatre.

- Do I have to stay, or can I drop and pick my child up at the end of class?

We prefer for parents to drop and pick-up, but parents are welcome to stay. There is limited space, especially with a production of this size, so we may designate a particular space for the parents and that area will be a quiet zone. There may be days that we won't have room for parents to stay as we get closer to production time.

- Does my child have to attend ALL classes?

We prefer they not miss classes when at all possible, but we know life happens, kids get sick, families like to go on vacations, etc. The first month or two, missing one or two classes isn't a huge deal, but as we get closer to production, attendance becomes very important. Technical rehearsal week attendance is especially crucial. Please email, or text message us if your kid is going to miss class.

- Can my kid practice at home?

YES! Please allow/enable your kid(s) to practice at home. The week before classes start, we will send an email with links to all the music. Listening to the music on the way to school, on the way home, on the way to activities is a great way for them to get extra practice in during the week. Once we start choreographing and learning dances, we will send links to videos for them to practice with. Practicing, rehearsing at home should be fun and not stressful...break it into 15- or 20-minute chunks once a day when they don't have class. Sing a song, read a page of lines, or watch/do one of the dances. Keep it light, especially for our younger kiddos.

- Can I volunteer as a parent?

YES! We love parent and sibling volunteers! We often need help during tech rehearsal week/performances in the front of house (tickets) and backstage (wrangling kids). We also love parent help with costumes and publicity! We will send out an email with more information on volunteer opportunities.

- What if I have additional questions?

Email or text us, We are always available and love to answer questions.
